Do you believe in the "paranormal"?
What do we make of ghosts and spirits? Are they real or are they our imagination? If you think they are real do you think we should be allowed to exploit the spiritual realm for entertainment? On VH1 you can watch celebs get freaked out as they go on missions in the most haunted places in the world. Also, would you go on one of these "missions" to see for yourself if there really are ghosts and spirits?

The prefix "para" means around, I believe. So that would make paranormal mean "around normal". Right? Anyway, dabbling for a little fun, no problem. Failing to keep it in perspective, big problem and potentially opening a door in one's life to the dark side - for lack of a better term. People go to scary movies or go through haunted houses or fun houses at the carnival because they find it fun to be scared silly. Not my cup of tea. I have had a couple of spiritual experiences where I was sure loved ones who had passed on were attempting to reassure me about something or protect me from something. Or perhaps it was God making his hedge of protection around me a little more tangible. So much for my ramblings...time to get back to work!
YES! I am a believer. I have been a paranormal investigator since 1999. I lived for 8 years in a very haunted house. Only after moving from it did I realize that I lived with a poltergeist. I have many photos and voices in my evidence collection to prove that there is something more to this world than what most usually 'see'. Cheers!
My mistake - para means "beside" instead of around. I'm not sure if this changes my response or not. Hmmm...I'll think about it.
My answer- I believe in the "paranormal". I would never do the haunted house thing for entertainment. To me entertainment is something for me to enjoy, not make me pee my pants and have nightmares for the rest of my life. I have had my share of experiences with the spiritual realm and I care not to relive any of it! I dont think people should "play" around with ouija boards, tarot cards, etc. Be very careful and informed when messing with the spiritual world!
