loved it
Went and saw Phantom of the Opera yesterday at the Stranahan Theater in Toledo. It was great. I loved the company and the show. The costumes and the stage design was theeeee best. I am looking forward hopefully to some other programs that Stranahan Theater is going to be putting on. Stomp and Cirque du Soliel are the main two I have my eye on. The best thing about it is that it is soooo close to home. Can't wait for the next one!

too busy to blog??????
Never thought I would say it but I feel as if I am too busy to blog. I am a huge book reader and I have been on the same book for 2-3 weeks now. So unusual for me. Appointments for the kids, daily routine, hubby, and dogs, church, work, sports, LIFE! And their is only the four of us and two four legged canines. Couldn't imagine more than that. I should not complain, actually I'm not. Love the fact that I am BUSY! In fact I am going to be off to see Phantom of the Opera with my lovely friends this weekend. Yeah! well until the next stop for fresh air. have a good one!

Looking for a pet?
Many people are looking for pets, and if you are one of them I would like for you to consider rescue adoption. Your local humane society would be a great place to find a new family member too, but if you are not able to find one that is suitable for you and your family then I suggest this website I have listed.
http://www.petfinder.com/
Just type in what you are looking for and your zip code. You will then be directed to a plethora of animals to be adopted. This is where and how we found Cheyanne our newly adopted siberian. I will link this site on the side so that perhaps you are not looking for a pet now but in the future you are, or someone you know is looking for one later on and you can let them know about an option of where to look.

I guess I am it!
Russell tagged me and it is for 5 things you might not know about me.
Here goes:
1. I am half Irish and half Macedonian. I am first generation American-Macedonian, hee-hee. Born in Dearborn and have only lived in MI. My dad (who spoke no english), sis and me learned our ABC's with Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.
2. I believe in Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit. I believe in Baptism, the bible, that it is okay for women to have a "role" in the "church", and to have instrumental music with worship.
3. Ran away from home at the age of 17/18. Removed all my braces by myself. Not a time I am proud of but it sure helped me be who I am today which I am proud of.
4. On class night my senior year, I was a guest performance on a mock David Letterman show. We, a group of us girls, were these whistlers that had outfits over our heads and they were made so that our belly buttons were lips that puckered and whistled to music. I had big red lips drawn around my belly button. We had to stick out our belly buttons to a whistling song. It was great we had a whole routine with choreography and everything. That is the night I also won class gossiper-my trophy was a plastic play phone. Not something I should be proud of, but good to look back and say-"hey, I have really come far!"
5. During my childhood I was in brownies, girl scouts, gymnastics, and ballet. I was also a safety patroller at Patterson Elementary, which was big stuff back then. Cool thing is that both my boys were also safety patrol.

on the same page
I really like the idea that everyone in my church family is on the same page as me. I like the fact that I am reading the same scripture in my bible as everyone else is in the church. Just think about it. All those people are being spiritually fed daily with the same scripture that I am being fed with. Perhaps they are even contemplating the same thoughts and/or asking themselves the same questions that I am. Possibly re-enacting the scriptures in their minds or perhaps they are also trying to really get a glimpse of what the words on the page are trying to show us. Those are some of the things that I am doing. Right now I am contemplating about salt. (yeah of all things-salt!) But if you have read your bible then you understand what I am talking about. If not ask? I know that my reading today was not that scripture but today is where I have had time to delve in deeper about salt and the scriptures. Where will the same page take you?

pics, pics, & pics
City walk at Universal/Islands of Adventure
Cocoa Beach Pier
Vincent eating a pizza with balsamic vinegar on it-he said it was really good and I was so surprised that I had to take a pic or else I would not have believed it myself
Me and the boys standing in line for Poseidon's Fury. That had a cool thing where you walked through a tunnel of water-reminded me of the parting of the Red Sea with Moses
Vincent and Nicholas with Islands of Adventure in the back ground

more pics
The bird is taken in a McDonald's parking lot. We were running thru the drive thru and it was next to us. We took one of those alligator boat ride things to see the "real Florida". It was fun Vincent drove the thing and it was an hour ride. Kota and the boys made faces and jokes the whole trip. You can also see how brave Nick is about a dinosaur popping out of the jungle. :)
Christmas Vacation Pics
We went to Cocoa Beach and the Space Center. Shopped at downtown Disney where we also went to see Cirque de Soleil-La Nouba. AWESOME! The palm tree picture is at a church we went to for a Christmas Eve service. Most of the vacation you can see that Kota drove his brother around Universal. Kota tried to unhinge his jaw and wrap it around a rice krispy. I wonder if they are as good as Vincent's? I've got sooooo many pics, it was a great vacation!!! Lots of good fun, laughter and new memories!
