loved it

Went and saw Phantom of the Opera yesterday at the Stranahan Theater in Toledo. It was great. I loved the company and the show. The costumes and the stage design was theeeee best. I am looking forward hopefully to some other programs that Stranahan Theater is going to be putting on. Stomp and Cirque du Soliel are the main two I have my eye on. The best thing about it is that it is soooo close to home. Can't wait for the next one!

The music is still playing in my head! You should read the synopsis that is in the program that Kris got. It answers a lot of things I wasn't clear on regarding the story. Altogether a great afternoon and especially fun and beautiful company! Thanks for going! Next trip? Any ideas?

Absolutely loved it! The program has some interesting things in it -- did you know that there is actually a lake under the Paris Opera house, five stories below the stage! The Opera House has 17 stories, half of which are underground. And, after the Opera house was built, one of the architects (there were 115) begged to be allowed to stay and live in the underground regions of the Opera House. He was rarely seen and people began referring to him as the phantom of the opera. He lived there until he died. Weird isn't it? But the Phantom of the Opera is loosely based on these facts.
